Brief Description

Mode of Recruitment :
The Competitive Written Examination (CWE) for the post of Junior Stenographer will be conducted in either OMR-based or computer-based mode. It will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The medium of the examination will be both English and Hindi, except for questions related to the English language.
The standard of the examination will be based on 10+2 (XII) level. The paper will consist of 200 questions to be attempted within a total time of 2 hours. For candidates eligible for a scribe, the duration will be extended to 2 hours and 40 minutes. The examination will contain only one paper divided into three parts as :

In addition to the written examination, candidates will have to appear for a proficiency test in stenography. A dictation of 10 minutes will be given in English or Hindi (as selected in the online application) at the speed of 80 words per minute. The transcription time will be as :

The Competitive Written Examination (CWE) for the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase) will also be held in either OMR-based or computer-based mode. The exam will feature objective-type multiple-choice questions, with the medium of questions being both English and Hindi, except for the English section. The standard of the examination will be at the 10+2 level.
The examination will comprise two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper II will be evaluated only for those candidates who meet the minimum cut-off marks in Paper I, as decided by the Selection Committee.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be required to appear for the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). The typing test will be conducted in both English and Hindi with the given standards:

The total time allotted for the Computer Proficiency Test will be 10 minutes for both English and Hindi typing tests.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is nil for Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen Candidates and Rs 500/- for other candidates. Fees should be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking.

The candidate should complete the online application, including all of their personal and educational information in the appropriate areas based on their certificates. The online application requires applicants to upload a scanned picture and signature. Save a hard copy of the online application for future reference.
